The challenge
Production equipment was already purchased and shipping, fixing the floor tolerances and service positions before the structural design was complete.
The solution
We reverse-engineered the layout from the equipment foundation drawings, poured a laser-screeded FM2 floor slab, and pre-installed service pits and anchor templates to the machine supplier's tolerances.
The result
Machinery was set on arrival with no grouting rework, saving an estimated six weeks of commissioning.
